I started writing this song in a hotel room in Malmö, Sweden last November(2015) I was pretty pissed off that there was literally 2 months to Christmas. When I was growing up a Christmas song was despised but secretly loved also :-)
I brought the bare bones of the song to my good friend and colleague Stephen McKinnon aka BIG ROUND BABY (also here on Soundcloud)He liked the idea and turned a piece of coal into a shiny, glittering, Beach Boy, Spectorish, cliched full on tune that sounds like every other popular Christmas song. 
The song also features a real nuclear siren on. On the first Monday of every month in Gothenburg, Sweden, they check the nuclear alarm. Stephen recorded it and realised that the alarm was in the same key as the song. Bizarre!!
