Momasé is a Colombian DJ and producer based in Barcelona whose hybrid sets draw on a decade of raving in New York City and Bushwick warehouses. Co‑founder of Eterna Collective and member of AMEBA Collective, she has played at Macarena Club, Red58, La Terrrazzza, Sala Tarro and Asociación Freedonia in Barcelona, and debuted in 2024 at Birgit Club in Berlin and Video Club in Bogotá.

This mix moves from introspective beginnings to uplifting peaks, blending emotive melodies with driving rhythms to reflect a journey from uncertainty to purpose.

Cami Montañes aka @momasedj es una joven colombiana amante de la salsa y los boleros. 
Tras residir una década en New York, se influenció profundamente por los sonidos tribales y oscuros que escuchaba en las warehouse raves de Bushwick y los alrededores de la ciudad.
En  2023 se mudó a Barcelona para estudiar producción musical y es ahí donde su camino como DJ empiezó a tomar forma, teniendo la oportunidad de pinchar en sitios como La Terrrazza, RED58 o el Macarena club.

Sus sesiones híbridas generan viajes eclécticos - a veces no sabe ni ella que género está pinchando pero algo asi como desde el Chicago, Deep y Minimal House, Acid, Progressive, Breaks y hasta sonidos más techneros para despertar unidad y poder en la pista de baile.

Momasé también es cofundadora del colectivo Eterna, Overcome Collective, y miembro de la Asociación de Música Electrónica de Barcelona (AMEBA).

Momasé is a Colombian DJ and music producer currently based in Barcelona, deeply influenced by the sounds she absorbed while raving at warehouses in Bushwick and around the city after living for a decade in New York City. Her digital-vinyl sets generate eclectic journeys ranging from Chi-House, Deep and Minimal House, Progressive House, Acid House, Breaks and Techno and other sounds she doesn't even know how to call to evoke oneness and power for dancers. She is also profoundly influenced by boleros and salsa. In 2023, she moved to Barcelona to study music production diving into the Barcelona local scene, playing at Macarena Club, Red58, La Terrrazzza, Asociación Freedonia, to name some. In 2024, she debuted in Berlin, playing at Birgit Club and in Video Club in Bogotá. 
She loves cats and chocolate.

Hola Amores! Here´s Mix #3 of my Mushrooming Series Mix: Mixes assembled to be experienced outside the dance floor.

Mix # 3: No te Olvides de Mi is inspired by grief. 

Grief is like a dance. It's got different steps and motions. Sometimes, you pause. And then you continue.  It takes different levels of breathing and unique gazes. It requires you to be in different angles from the main stage, in this case, life. 

This mix was much needed, as I currently navigate a stage I did not know was possible - the feeling of losing memory of someone gone that you love. 

To me, this mix feels like a space, a portal, a void in between where I can feel him close. It's our meeting point. I know he's here, giving me the smiles he gave me when we last hung out. And now, we are dancing, por siempre. 

I hope this mix is a hug to you to remind you that it's impossible to lose memory of someone gone, who you truly love.
