'Following appearances on acclaimed labels such as Toto Chiavetta's Borders Of Light, MoBlack or Sol Selectas and having recently signed with Super Flu's Monaberry, Yamil is back on his own record label Pieces Of Life with an outstanding new EP called Himbra. Label friend Enai is also making an appearance on remix duty.

Yamil is in a momentous moment, he has been delivering high quality House and Deep House for the last couple of years, steadily forging his reputation as a DJ, Producer, Label Owner and Artist with a unique musical visioning. He also garnered heavy support from the likes of Black Coffe, Dixon, Âme or Pablo Fierro over the summer. Currently based in Madrid his personal sound travels across the globe creating special moments through his original music or dj sets. His latest releases are the best proof of it, most of them have placed themselves on the first positions of Beatport and Traxsource's Top 100 sales charts and he is amassing more than 150k listeners per month on Spotify, sitting himself as one of the most interesting artists to keep an eye on during 2022.

Himbra EP consists of two original tracks and a remix by Girona-based producer Enai. The homonymous track 'Himbra' is built upon the tension of a tight oscillating bass line which gradually increase in intensity and shifts around very subtle drum elements to leads into a flute that becomes the main element of the song at the point of peak and increase the existing energy throughout the whole journey.

Next up is 'New Dawn', a richly atmospheric track that sees Spanish producer incorporate a very heavy hit hat that leads into a dip which is characterized by an emotional piano and synthesizer's build-ups for a transcendent listening experience.

The mood of the EP changes radically with Enai's remix to 'New Dawn', driving energy and hypnotic synth lines, the producer has made the song his own, breaking down the original melodies and bringing it to a more darker and melodic techno vibe.'

'After a successful release on High Tide Recordings back in 2020 we welcome back Monty Ozanne, the 25 year old DJ & producer from London, England and an all round nice guy!

With various parties and events on the South Coast of the UK as his inspiration, Monty has honed his sound in House and Techno, taking big inspiration for tracks which are both melodic and very dance floor friendly.

Comuno - Kanuma

Tale Of Us present a new collaboration with Vaal for the sixth release on their Afterlife label. Three years after they teamed up for ‘Concur’ and began to tour together, the trio return with their most anthemic offering yet. Vaal’s hauntingly-beautiful and instantly-recognisable vocals are the centre-piece on ‘Monument’, building on the style of her Wander To Hell EP (AL002). The drums and shimmering synth lines are moody and uplifting in the way Tale Of Us have made their own, arranged perfectly for the psychedelic breakthrough.

On the flip side, ‘The Hangar’ takes a different approach to equally devastating effect. It pumps with added urgency and a thunderous, steely bassline lunges out from the low-end. Designed for large soundsystems and big rooms, ‘The Hangar’ finds Tale Of Us and Vaal at their most direct and it’s something to behold.

Barnt and Stephan Bodzin, two artists whose stand-out performances at recent Afterlife events have made them firm favourites with the crowds, are tapped for the remixes (AL007). They both take on ‘Monument’, Barnt opting for a rolling, percussive direction and Bodzin more ethereal and transportive.
