Land 4 Uhr (so benannt nach Alberto Giacomettis Skulptur "Der Palast um 4 Uhr früh" von 1932.  Ruhelosigkeit mit Ganzton-/Halbtonskalen. Blockform.

Land 4 Uhr

Alberto Giacomettis Werk beeindruckt und beeinflusst mich seit ich sie in der Mannheimer Ausstellung "Die Familie Giacometti - Das Tal, die Welt - kennen gelernt habe im Jahr 2000. Eine seiner frühen Arbeiten heisst "Der Palast um 4 Uhr früh" - eine dem Modellbau ähnelnde Konstruktion aus den Materialien Holz, Glas, Draht und Schnur. In meinem Solo Piano Programm spiele ich u.a. den Innenflügel mit diese Materialien. Die rauhe, abstrakte Oberfläche der späten Skulpuren Giacomettis, für die er berühmt geworden ist, versuchte ich klanglich vor allem im Spiel auf den Tasten nachzubilden. Ruhelos. Eine persönliche Auseinandersetzung mit Wiederholung und Sequenzierung.

The series was founded and directed by Marie Wilhelmine Anders and was used to promote the regional scene and national and international exchange.
