This is RCA Victor's version of highlights from Tchaikovsky's Swan Lake ballet suite. I got those records today, and I couldn't wait to transfer them!

NOTES: The music has been sped up slightly to prevent SoundCloud from dinging me with copyright infringement. These are also the oldest records in my collection as of January 2022, with a date of 1949, and they are among the first 45 RPM records to be released. All records are also played in the order that they would be stacked on a record changer.

Seeburg's version of "Love Her Madly" by The Doors also appeared on BA-110B from April 1974 and got recycled as the last track on IND-116-B from the RR-67/July 1976 replacement set. If this song appeared on any other records, please let me know.

Here's some audio that was on a 5 (formerly 5 3/4) inch tape reel which was recorded at 3 3/4 IPS which I then transferred from my Stellaphone ST-458. The audio seems to be from a BBC Radio 2 recording dating between 1974 and 1976 judging by the style of the arrangements.

NOTE: The audio has been sped up in Audacity to prevent me from getting a content match, just in case the songs on this tape aren't in the public domain.

Seven Muzak-style tunes from a reel-to-reel audio tape

These are some tunes from presumably the 1960s that I found on a 7 inch reel of tape with a code number of 8/1 on one side and 8/2 on the other. Various tunes from a 7 inch reel

These are some tunes from presumably the 1960s that I found on a 7 inch reel of tape with a code number of 8/1 on one side and 8/2 on the other. However, the original mono transfer from my Stellaphone ST-458 will still be up so you can compare the two transfers. This tape was also transferred to a USB flash drive which was connected to my Victrola all-in-one stereo system, which I got on Christmas 2020, and I was planning to use my Sony TC-355 as my reel-to-reel transfer machine, but it broke on me and I am planning on using my Stellaphone ST-458 for now until my Sony TC-355 gets fixed.

This is a budgie (or parakeet as indicated on both the label and the record since I imported this from the United States) training record made in around 1952 or so. This is a transfer of side B of the 78 RPM version, although this was also sold as a 45 RPM record.

This side of a 78 RPM record was transferred from my Fenton RP115 and transferred using the USB cable that came with it. Since this record was very crackly, I added some click removal in Audacity, although some crackles may still be audible, and I added RIAA equalization to the recording. Since this record is a later 78 RPM record, it is made of vinyl instead of shellac, akin to the V-Discs that were made during the Second World War, alongside most later 78 RPM discs until 1971. Unlike shellac, vinyl is a lot more durable, and doesn't break as easily, and most records pressed nowadays are made from vinyl.

Since the tape was recorded at 7 1/2 IPS and the tape recorder used to digitize this tape played it back at 3 3/4 IPS, I doubled the speed in Audacity. Side A contains Act I, while side B contains Act II. Here is the former of the two.

Seeburg B16B (4-1-1966)

This is a reel-to-reel tape I transferred which has an interesting story behind it. Apparently this reel was recorded in the mid 1960s and somebody recorded songs that were made around World War II that were most likely composed between 1939 and 1945. This is one of six reels I collected when I first got into reel-to-reel in around 2023 and I was not expecting wartime tunes to appear on this side of the tape. This tape was likely recorded on a Grundig TK-46 or TK-45 judging by the fact that it is a stereo recording. This particular tape along with the rest of them is on a 7 inch reel and was recorded at 3¾ IPS on Emitape stock.

This cassette was also encoded with Dolby B noise reduction, and an updated transfer when I either get a cassette deck with noise reduction, when I fix my Sony XO-D3’s cassette decks or I get a Dolby noise reduction box will be coming soon.

Seeburg M17A (10-1-1965)

Here's a full transfer of Seeburg Mood Library M17B from 10-1-1965.

This side of a Seeburg 1000 record was transferred from the RCA output of my Numark TTXUSB with the pre-amp set to the line level while fed into the RCA inputs of a video capture device and edited in Audacity. Because I did a real-time transfer, I set the speed to 33⅓ RPM, and to make the turntable spin at 16⅔ RPM, I used the pitch fader on the 50% range and put it all the way down so that the turntable was spinning at half the speed.
