A dear, dear friend of mine committed suicide. His whole circle of friends and family went absolutely out of their minds, commenting how outraged they were, how surprised, I just felt like...how could everyone not see this coming? His inner circle knew and spent so much time with him right before it happened. 

Suicide is a strange thing that humans do. There was a slow, slow march to his death and he had every opportunity to start walking in any other direction. I couldn't walk for him, his parent's couldn't, he had to do it. 

I hope we all walk in our life's best direction.

My favorite female singer is Nina Simone. She first recorded this tune in 1964 an The Animals made it mega famous with an amazing guitar riff. This one is closer to Nina's version, which you should listen to after listening to mine.
