Desmond Washington is an inmate in one of Her Majesty’s prison for almost 15years
He is counting the weeks left for his release.
Throughout his long stint he has kept himself together because of a picture of the woman he loves by using his imagination in ways somewhat different but makes good sense.

This song is reminiscent of the loss, suffering and challenges endured by those who hail from the many beautiful islands in the sun!
This song communicates a very powerful message despite the appealing lyrics and an apt choice of music sung with passion to get the message across!
It makes evident that all that is good about these islands will be lost without commitment from these nations to change negative attitudes and behaviours that threaten their very survival.
The song suggests that when united we “stand”, but if divided we “fall” and that everyone has their  role to play to heal these troubled lands to make them once more, a better place and in many instances the kind of place that they used to be!

Momo-Watt, is a British Reggae/Lovers Rock and Soul singer/Songwriter/TV Producer/Director, born in Jamaica, September 21st as (Michael Mowatt).
