Our podcast was produced by, Jenna Bilotta, Gabriella Orzillo, Jordyn Burke, Celina Hana , and Jose Parrales Gonzalez

We interviewed several students, teachers, and administration including the superintendent. We asked about their opinions on students using their phones during school hours or even just during lunch. Many students feel as if they should be allowed to use their phones during free time. But on the other hand teachers think otherwise, they think if the students use their phones in class it will be a distraction to their learning time. Both teachers and some students agreed that using phones in class might affect the learning experience.

Phone Usage

Students do their homework in many different conditions at many different times. Strategies for doing homework vary depending on the student. In this podcast one will listen about what methods work for different student and professional opinions on the importance of homework.

Our names are Giovanni Rodrguez, Justin Garcia,Partick Copeta, Landon Burns,Leysha Montalvo, and Ryan Depp and we are all students from Mount Olive Middle School

We chose this topic because it's important for kids to be able to get a recess and we wanted to get good feedback on if it's a good thing for students to get a recess and majority of people throughout the interviews agreed upon having a recess.

We have asked many teachers and students about the topic and how they all wanted to have this change done. Our job was pretty easy because the answers were good for the podcast.

Our team at Mount Olive Middle School took on this task first hand by asking various students and a teacher about their experiences with slang words. What slang does our generation use? Swamped in Slang

7th graders, Daniel faszczewski,  Nakul Gautam, Harshad Narayanamoorthy, Jondavid Jabush, Liam Rosania decided to explore how students think about school and their future and how the staff thought about it when they were once in high school.This subject is about school and the future. We were asking students what they wanna do with their future after highschool . For teachers we were asking what made them become a teacher. We did school and the future because we wanted to do what people want to do in their future. With teachers we wanted to know why teachers wanted to teach.
