Taking us deep into the first night is Zara's incredible closing set, recorded from 03:30 - 05:00 on 16/09. Memories of textural elements layered atop of speedy basslines are now for us to listen back to. Also to note, the cabins were shaking.

Circling back to one of my all time ride or dies, presenting @sandpit_alias for Animix one hundred and seventy one. Feels so good to have him back on this series - he was one of the first appearances which remains a favourite, and this sequel is a perfect reminder of why Aidan in such a vital figure in Naarm/Melbourne's scene. So much integrity, class and intuitive flair, no one does it like him. This instalment is a no nonense, if-you-know-you-know wave of his signature blend of banging house and techno.

Another snapshot from our night with @escalator-to-nowhere in May 2025. Half-human, half-AI hallucination, @dreamsoftwarecorp floats in like a digital cloud formation. The first half rains down pixelated cascades of ambient techno, while the second introduces heavier textures with wriggling 303s pulling you through like cilia to the other side.
