Learning his craft playing with the best in the industry, Stereo Underground, otherwise known as the Israel based Yariv Etzion, has been patiently waiting for his time to unleash his enchanting music into the wider public. Dabbling away day after day in the studio, finding what works the crowds in some of the biggest clubs in Israel and beyond, and finally releasing a string of tracks and remixes that are making the hairs on people's necks stand up, so naturally, we couldn't wait to bring him onto Crossfrontier Audio.

With the Sleepless EP Stereo Underground delivers two original and tantalising new works, and you'd think that isn't much, but each track builds up a momentum and atmosphere so strong, any and all deep seated groover will be satisfied by what's up for grabs. From beginning to end, each piece will have you craving more. From the harrowing thunder of Sleepless, to the vivid detail of Fading Stars, each track is a journey in itself, and we invite you to explore their depths, be-it at home or on the dance-floor.

With this EP, we're sure that Stereo Underground is just getting started, and what a way to get things going, with a superb EP on Crossfrontier Audio, the release sees the light of day on the 12th December. The final act unfolds. Chapter 24 serves up a powerful 13 track album that finds a wealth of originals from Masaya’s debut, Picking Up The Pieces, getting the Editions treatment by top artists including Ripperton, Petar Dundov, Patrice Baumel, Johannes Brecht and many more. They make for essential listening.

First out of the bag, Kurt Baggaley flips Walking Dad into a deep spine tingling number that will infuse and fill the dance floor with warmth and soul. Love over Entropy’s take on Haumea is deep but more driving, with slick synth modulations colouring the grooves, then Swiss master Ripperton builds lots of tension with his brooding techno remix of Flow of Tears.

As well as a starry and cosmic Edition from Nhar, a tense and edgy take from Neil Flynn and a melodically excellent variation from Croatian Petar Dundov, the album includes a slow and haunting rework from David Durango and a skittish, broken beat kicker from Patlac.

The final third of the collection hones in on simmering techno from Johannes Brecht, a loose house roller from VVerses and masterfully seductive and steamy tech house from Patrice Baumel. Closing things out in fitting style are a rumbling epic from Malbetrieb & THC, and Paul Nolan’s delicate take on Time Goes Fast.

These works all breathe plenty of new life into the still standout originals from the Swiss Chilean artist and are sure to do plenty of damage on the dancefloor this summer. The 24th Chapter is at last revealed in full.

Monaberry’s label boss, good old Herb, is back in business. The House multi-talent curates the latest Mona compilation – Herberts Best #8.  Famous Monaberry artists and new faces from all over the world follow his call and deliver exquisite productions to grandpa Herbert.

Tim Engelhardt’s contribution “Skin” is a deep hitting symphony of a cineastic atmosphere, rolling drums, crystal clear luminescent synths and captivating arpeggios. Mi.li.an’s vocals enchantingly highlight the track’s vibrant beat and the analog drive finally flows into bubbly extasy.

Just right after the release of his latest track on Monaberry Sobek pleases grandpa Herbert with “Camerlengo” – a gently evolving and hypnotically dragging track with some smacking groove that wraps around the floating framework and tickles your senses all at once.

Armonica, the charismatic duo from the dephts of Italy, put a mad peaktime track on the table. “Time” is just bursting with slightly dark synths and FXs. The energizing bass line and the vocals reduced to the essentials are literally pushing this track onto the global stage.

Another track is delivered by Sonic Future from Porto Alegre, Brazil. His artwork “Pontilismo” is full of vigorous rhythm, crisp synth variations and minimal 80ies flair that will knock your socks off. Especially the filter modulated chords carry you away to Alpha Centauri and fuse together with the beat into an embracing sound.

Luis Junior brings “Go Gech” into play, a rotating Detroit UFO made of technoid ruthlessness and deep groove. He successfully blends dramatic synth chords, vocal snippets, and striking FXs into a continuous storyboard with a break that will make your endorphins dance and pleases with a lovingly staged happy end.

Italian stallion Ivan Masa uses Afro House elements and sprinkles some melodic parts and softly playful groove to build the sound frame of “Nativity”. Dense spaces and percussions merge into an ethno inspired work of art that will flow straight into your body and soul.

Ikarius & Dhakka join with “Salvation”, a hypnotic production that catapults the audience into a next dimension with opulent synth chords and effects, crunchy claps and subtle toms. The track composition is indeed psychedelic and a powerful tool.
Ultimately, a compilation like this can only be brought into being by good old Herb himself. We bow to his wisdom and cannot wait for these seven gorgeous pieces.

Alex Niggemann’s forward thinking label Aeon recently celebrated five years at the forefront of cutting edge music.
To k​ick off 2019, Kincaid makes his debut on the label: the EP is the first in a string of exceptional music to come this year.

The four track EP kicks off in style with ​On The Back Of A Serpent​. An Italo-tinged number with Kincaid's trademark live sounding drum programming. It’s an instant club rocker with trippy vocal snippets that draw the listener into an ethereal, spine tingling breakdown. ​Stare Into My Monstera begins with a driving groove and dissonant Rhodes, building subtly but relentlessly towards a euphoric Nord lead motif which reappears throughout. A track that will undoubtedly find favour with the discerning Burner crowd. ​Papoose starts with middle eastern influenced sounds and insistent Timpani accents, before locking into a groove which hypnotises and intrigues in equal measure. Finally ​It Said (feat. Sinàl) is a darker affair featuring the sinister vocals of both Kincaid and Sinàl themselves. A ‘lights off / strobe on’ growler, this is one for fans of late night trippy moments - and further displays the diverse number of styles which Kincaid is becoming well known for.

Kincaid may be a fresh face to many but those in the know will be familiar with his unique brand of diverse and genre bending sounds. Breaking through in 2018, notable highlights include a debut release on Moscoman’s Disco Halal and an EP on Sabo’s Sol Selectas plus a plethora of support from titans of the scene; Rampa and &Me, Jennifer Cardini, The Juan MacLean, Roman Flügel, all the way to Dixon and Âme, who opened their Innervisions show at London’s iconic Royal Albert Hall with his remix of Blancmange’s ​What’s The Time​.

A freeform V/A series where only the rules of groovecraft and immersivity apply, the concept is to include as many bright sonic sparks as possible into each edition. They could be rising stars, they could be veteran pioneers, they could be any level in between; either way, every artist who contributes to the ‘Numéro’ series is a kindred Correspondant spirit. They understand where the label is heading… And where your dancefloor needs to be.

‘Numero 01’ sets the scene as high levels of interstellar drama persist in all directions from a whole troupe of new friends; Damon Jee’s evocative cinematic ‘Ride Alone’ instantly sucks us into the narrative and it’s followed by a whole chain of singular chapters; EDE’s spellbinding choral fusion ‘Ensemble’, Jenia Tarsol & Jinga’s endlessly rising sci-fi funk odyssey ‘Hold Your Pony’, Joris Biesmans’ cathedral like progression session ‘Helene’ and the genuinely grand finale ‘Jupiter Express’. Our beloved friends from Amsterdam-based Sinchi Collective open up a new chapter with the start of a record label! The new not-for-profit label will pledge the profits from each release to a hand-picked charity and kicks off with a fresh single from Leonor, featuring remixes from Curses and Sascha Funke. Profits from the first release will be benefiting The International Elephant Foundation, an NGO which focuses on protecting the severely endangered Asian elephant and the threatened African elephant.

The artist behind Sinchi Music's debut release is Leonor, who contributes a fantastic single littered with the sound of jungle wildlife, indigenous percussion, tribal vocal chants and loose house drums. We've the pleasure of airing the rework of Kompakt and Hippie Dance mainstay Sascha Funke - a flailing and unhinged house track with a giant rasping bassline and trippy synth details.
