"How many various dances of Shiva are known to His worshipers I cannot say. No doubt the root idea behind all of these dances is more or less one and the same, the manifestation of primal rhythmic energy. Whatever the origins of Shiva's dance, it became in time the clearest image of the activity of God which any art or religion can boast of."

In the deep dark forest, among slugs, spiders and squirrels, there are other creatures who once in a year all connect in one place to celebrate and thank nature, dance together and cook a beetroot soup at the fireplace. They talk about distant grounds and irrational life designs, solve their problems, hug each other and dream about a better future. They are fragile and strong, tired and full of energy, disappointed, daydreamers and full of ambitions. 

They like to jump and get crazy, but also like to sit down and take a sip of sekko soziale with a pear juice, they like to run in circles or make a little contact dance, hold each other close or dance a little swing - so I wanted to take them on a journey and make a set, which would have as many facets as a young soul who landed in the garden of Tandava that night. So there is a mix of dreamy ambient, hypnotic funky disco sounds, psychodelic folk, thought provoking lyrics, electronic music from all over the world born in different decades, and whatever else musical styles which have landed in this ecstatic set which made many forest beings dance and smile.

So, have fun and dance, listen until the end and remember "we could do well to a listen sometimes, and not to shout around about things we know nothing about"

This single is accompanied by two different styled remixes from Tlazohtla (Mexico City) and Sebastian Gabriel (Berlin) each one made with their own point of view and creation.
