Minimal Mystic is a new music label. Our purpose is to collect unique audio recordings from many different cultures and traditions of our world in order to combine special “Various Artists Eps” music collections with separate ethnographic subjects and elements of our sound banks. With the aim to experiment with those recordings we’re striving to create special tracks into Downtempo and Midtempo Organic & Minimalistic electronic waveforms. Let’s travel around our world, our past and our future with Minimal Mystic music magic bus.

In our second music journey we’ve got some amazing ancient Greek Lyra recordings (God Orpheus favorite music organ) and we’ve invited five quality artists of the Downtempo/Organic-House/Electronica scene to get inspiration and use these recordings in order to come out with their own tracks. For our second EP we’ve got some superb recordings of Ancient Greek Lyra by Theodoros Koumartzis. The end result is purely magic as we travel from France to Greece and Serbia with a kaleidoscope of sounds and moods. Da Iguana, Dest, Dio S, Estray and P A N are the pilots for this amazing journey into past, present and future by Minimal Mystic Records. Almost 3 years ago El Remolón and Brawlio met at a Fértil Discos party and there began a synergy that resulted in the already known song "Los Pájaros" and now in a joint EP of 4 songs that will be released in October and that gathers part of a forgotten Argentine popular songbook. Is called “Coplas para Amar o Morir” (coplas for love or die).

The songs speak of love, spite, betrayal and death in almost equal proportions. Faithful to the style of the members of the project, the versions preserve a gene of the original seed but both take the boldness to go beyond, changing some words that today sound outdated and print a modern audio and strong electronic imprint. At the same time they play with the genres incorporating original keys of traditional rhythms such as Chacarera, Huayno or Cumbia, all with strong Argentine roots.

The EP begins with "Muchas Estrellas", a reversion of "Contrapunto de Tonadas", originally compiled by folklorist Leda Valladares in 1991 in the Northwest of Argentina, where an original duel of copleros is transformed into an electronic and existential huayno. "Con su Permiso", the second track of the EP, is a kind of copy/paste of anonymous songs, where between afro rhythms and chacarera, it invites you to an intense and unbridled dance. It continues with a free version of ”Telesitx”, a traditional Argentinean folk song modifed by Jorge Cafrune and composed by Agustín Carabajal and Andrés Chazarreta, to the rhythm of an electronic chacarera. Guest pianist Natalia Schvartz softens the intensity of the lyrics with sweet black and white notes. To close, the song “Campo”, an unpublished sentimental version taking fragments of the Baguala de Seclantás compiled by Leda Valladares in the Documental Folklórico de Salta, almost without phonographic recordings, transports you to the Argentine countryside, referring to a wild journey in the middle of a romantic misunderstanding. Agus Ganem joins in on the Creole guitar and ronroco.

The Planisphere of Dendera is one of the oldest astronomical messages left on the humanity by ancient Egyptian priests. Also known as the Dendera Zodiac or the Zodiac of Osiris (as it was dedicated to Osiris) and was located in the temple complex of Hathor in Dendera, a small town on the nile, close to Luxor.

The Dendera Zodiac is an ancient astronomical map which contains all the information needed to calculate the movement of Earth from one zodiac sign to another for approximately 30000 years, which corresponds to the axial precession cycle.

The ancient Egyptians knew well the secrets of precession and the basis of their calculations is the great year – 25,920 years. One astrological era is equal to 1/12 of the precession of Earth’s axis and corresponds to 2160 years.

The celestial arch is represented by a disc held up by four pillars of the sky in the form of women, between which are inserted falcon-headed spirits.

The four pairs of figures represent the cardinal points, while all twelve figures indicate the months. In the inner circle, the main fixed stars are shown for orientation, and the circle is divided into 36 deans, each resulting in an Egyptian week of ten days.

In this way the stars were observed and recorded over thousands of years, with incredible precision. These are known to us today as constellations, each one has its place in the sky and can be observed at a certain time.
