We are enormously stoked to close this exhilarating year with an equally exhilarating release.

Sydka debuted on MŎNɅDɅ with his massive track "Night Creed" as we closed last year's chapter with PɅRŎUSIɅ IV V/Ʌ. Followed by his equally loved and successful track "Halcyon" which found its place on the label shortly after. His sound is unmistakable and is able to open up new spheres within the versatile downtempo genre. Sydkas productions are to the point, crisp and with a deep groove. Whoever has heard him once, will recognize him again and again.

Dark Hill comes with 3 Originals and has been enhanced with remixes from Nada, Urem, Rubén Coslada and Katabtu, which stylistically underline the release skillfully and are on a par with the originals in the finest way.

Image design and composition is probably one of the most fundamental forms of artistic expression. This field of art is almost infinite in its possible manifestations. An image can be created with highly complex computer programmes or with the simplest of means. In the digital cosmos, each pixel can be configured exactly according to the artists ideas and wishes. In contrast, impressive works of art can also be created with natural materials such as stones, twigs or with coal. The ability to compose images is as complicated as it is simple. It depends on the artist and his creative intention. The Canvas remix by Just Emma & Urem is a little darker than the original version. Expressive percussions and analogue-sounding synths give the song a clubby makeover. Elements of the original track are used thoughtfully and in specific places. Among other things, the unique vocals are incorporated into the new composition. Overall, this remix is a successful addition to the original and presents another form of Canvas music. For me, forgiveness is a tool for healing. 
A special aspect of it for me has been the realisation that you cannot apologise, you can only ask for forgiveness. 
On the other hand, you can forgive another person, even though they may not be at the point where they see the need to ask for forgiveness. 
In any case, this topic has been very much on my mind over the last few years, as I have felt an intrinsic urge to process experiences and clear up ambiguities and hurts. 
It was absolutely fascinating to experience first-hand how dead ends have turned into open roads and peace has come in where chaos and negativity were predominant before. 
I dedicated the song to this and enriched it with a mixture of melancholy and hope, which accompanied me in moments of dealing with the topic. 
I think it fits well into the current season, with the days getting shorter and shorter, the year coming to an end, which is also the beginning of a new one. 
As I can only encourage you to listen to the song ^^, I can also recommend the topic of forgiveness to you. 
Maybe there is someone who would be happy about a reconciliation or apology. 
If I can contribute even 1%, that would be more than wonderful.
