Judy Richards interviews Judy Katz, and Cathy Kitcho, the producers of the Monarch Dunes Media Club's History Documentary, "Life and Times at the Foot of the Hills". When completed, the documentary will cover many aspects of local history and answers the question, "What brought people here to this part of the Central Coast, through time?" It will cover geology, botany, agriculture, viticulture, early settlers, famous families, artists and movie-making, in the form of on-camera interviews with local experts, and dramatic video and drone footage of the area. It is Nipomo-centric, but also covers areas to the north and south of the Nipomo Mesa.

Listen to this fascinating interview by Len Jarrott of the adventure of a lifetime by the Reynolds family hiking all 200 miles of the John Muir Trail along the Sierra Nevada mountain range in California.  Travis and Adriana hiked for three weeks in the summer of 2020 with their three young sons, Dane (10), Torin (12) and Daven (15).  Their story of endurance, sacrifice and vision is only surpassed by their description of the beauty and majesty of nature along the trail.
