Concerto Competition 2.09.2016

Creative Music Technology is a new and exciting addition to the Sir Zelman Cowen School of Music. This concert is the maiden voyage for the very first entirely electronic music ensemble at Monash University. 

Featuring students from the Creative Music Technology specialisation, the Monash Music Technology Performance Ensemble incorporates a wide range of electronic instruments; from laptops and controllers to traditional synthesisers and effects. The ensemble is being lead by visiting electronic music and sound artist Byron Scullin, and features works constructed and improvised by students during the rehearsal period.
