Ceremony

The North London-hailing members of post-punk outfit Fiende Fatale have emerged from the ashes of lockdown with a new, mature sound and they are calling it Mondo Caine.
The new single ‘Ceremony’, due for a summer release, is an eerie apocalyptic number about a culturally decaying world suspended over the cliff edge of the 20th century, haunted by its glories, its horrors and it excesses.
The sound draws on interests and influences including Tricky, Burial, David Bowie, Gang of Four’s album ‘Hard’, as well as the writings of cultural theorist Mark Fisher and novelist J G Ballard.
