Super Fu might be a new name to many but they are are a trio of musicians with deep roots in the UK electronic scene, a collaboration between Richard Hall (Paper Street Soul), Paul Withey and Sarah Lazenby (Sweetooth). Having known each other for a number of years having featured on the same releases together under our different guises, a collaboration had been talked about, but it wasn’t until the extraordinary situation that occurred over the last year and a half that has really given them the time to really see what would happen. They set out to create music without boundaries using all 3 of their varied influences and a creative freedom. Their EP Cocoons from earlier in 2021 introduced the act to the world and was followed up by their wonderful eponymous album Super Fu both on Paper Recordings, a stunning collection of 10 tracks receiving support from a wide and varied cast of respected artists.
