its been me myself and i, how long idk
i lost track when she decided its over, time passed by
now im over the past, haunted by whats next to come
honestly im scared sometimes, the future is ugly
i think am i strong enough to withhold it, my biggest fear
is a future i cant predict, matter fact i cant even rewrite it
what if my mistakes pop up, all my sins and trials
show up out the blue, to ruin any chance of starting a new
we all make mistakes, some people grow and change
but others dont wanna say it, they push the backlash
and old shi, infront of ur face, tear down any chance
of u making a move, once in checkmate, theyll take over ur life
control every action, like niggas gotta be perfect

funny enough, yall aint never wanted more in life

no dreams or hopes, yall niggas broke at home, im disappointed in yall, everyone around me saw greatness, how can i not spoil myself
my head may have got bigger, because i was fillled with ideas
how to escape this shit place, how to make money and live comfy

i saw something i wanted, so i took it, wheter u like it or not
isnt a problem, its my life i live it the way i want it
i grind hard so i dont have to worry, i pray to make it 
and fake it till i make it, and work nonstop yall can never do the same
yall stuck in this loop, yall stuck in the past, i stress about my future
cause my past wasnt the best, so i work in the present
to recreate a better future for me
