Argentinian born Israeli singer and songwriter, Monica Manaker was born in Argentina, moving to Kibbutz Maggal, Israel. Currently lives in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. 

As both a teacher and an artist, her professional life has been defined by her deep love and appreciation for music, people and education.

After years of writing and composing, during which she performed in Israel, Argentina, Usa, Italy, Uruguay, Paraguay , Brazil and Ethiopia, she decided to launch her music . Her first album, זה מגיע״- Here it comes", in hebrew, is a real variation of styles and influences, based on world music, pop and trova femme. Her original and touching songs in Spanish like “Punto circular”, and even known music from Latin America, are part of her repertoire. 

As a member of the Naama women’s choir, Mrs. Manaker has received awards in Italy, and Israel. Monica Manaker have (2) two of their songs chosen to be part of the CD "Tribe of Noise - Volume 1". Lluvia Chueca and Tiempos Modernos (Getty Images Music).
