As early as age five, I began singing hymns in church. Childhood trauma, failed relationships, and a love interest would essentially be that gateway to restarting my passion for singing and writing music. R&B legends such as Mary J Blige, Aretha Franklin, Teena Marie, and Chaka Khan are my most significant influences, along with groups like H-Town, Silk, Keith Sweat, Jodeci, Whistle, Surface, Force MD's, and Jagged Edge. The journey began from writing over 90 1-minute clipped songs to beats on the Voicey App. I connected with some fantastic producers such as Bishop "Stick" Burrell, Stevie Brown, aka MrMakesBeats, Lazthaproducer, and Mystrotheproducer the rest became history. My inspiration to creatively write music comes from real-life issues, personal relationships, and observations that capture my attention. The "Long Time Coming" album instantiates the 90's R&B revamped lane I have created to represent me as an artist.
