OLHA - 20-year-old Ukraine-born London and Kyiv-based DJ, art director, performance & visual artist. She is a co-founder of Kyiv-based event series called DRIFT (@drift_kyiv). She is also a co-founder of Орфей [orpheus] - theatre of visual and performance art, a platform for multidisciplinary rave events based in London. 

Being an acute observer and perceiving the reality through narratives for alternative histories and possible scenarios of our futures, she is carefully arranging her mixtapes, transforming them into catalysts for emotional elevation, euphoric exaltation, and liberation. Diving into the memories of hardcore rave mystery she soundtracks magnetic, fast-paced, and intense sexy fairytale magic blasting with emotions, melancholy, romance, and subtle nostalgia. Her musical language is filled with sublime melodies, industrial loudness, hard & very raw magnetism, and explosive, transcendental ripples, which liberate and invoke to soar.

Rising from the shadows comes a 90-minute blend of hang-tough beats for this latest in the Bassiani Podcast series. This one comes by way of Kaytseng, a Taiwanese transplant in the Netherlands who cut her teeth down under while playing Melbourne’s local circuit. Though the Amsterdam relocation’s only two years old, the move’s already budding a promising path for her sinister sound and bringing her into the European techno fold. Think merciless fast-trance, gritty and thrashing sounds that pack a punch with every beat, it’s a measure of brutal craftwork for footloose and die-hard raving, tough and highly physical. Her warpspeed tempos are racking up a following, and her Berghain debut as part of the CRUDE roster’s reared a long-term residency with the Berlin label to boot. Her sets are fun and quick on the draw and this latest one’s not afraid to show it. Kaytseng delivers an hour and a half of pulse-quickening rhythms that ramp up and roll to the hilt for Bassiani Podcast 262, rattling clicks and primeval bass, apocalypse ready techno that’s breathing fresh life into the global scene. The future of sound is fast approaching and this Taiwan selector’s both emergent defender and catalysing force.

Syntop Audio 11 - Strongrain

Born in Sofia but currently residing in London, SLLAV describes himself as a serious music enthusiast with an affiliation towards the more dynamic side of techno. Heavily influenced by classic rock and the electronic sound from the early to mid-2000s, his approach is a combination of galloping bottom-end and thundering percussion backed up by those necessary melodic moments. In the last couple of years, he gained valuable experience playing at clubs such as Fabrica 126 in Sofia, Corsica Studios and E1 in London and Griessmuehle in Berlin. Having started his DJ journey with KODEN, a Birmingham-based crew, he is now a regular face at the infamous Jaded after-hours. Some of the more notable acts that he has had the chance to support include Dax J, VSK, Scalameriya, Stephanie Sykes, Airod and more. He recently released via Khazad Records and is now focusing on enhancing his production skills to deliver the sound he envisages.

It includes diverse releases like music, posters, clothing and video from Copenhagen scene and beyond. In her intoxicating mix for Wave of Hope she linkes fresh and modern Techno with progressive elements and Manu Chao.
