My God, You embrace my existence with Your care, watch over me as if You forgot the whole creation, You give me Your  gifts as if I am the only object of Your love. -St. Augustine

Hold Him and do not let Him go. Say to Him as did our father Jacob, "I will not let You go unless You bless me!"  (Gen.32:26). What is the meaning of the phrase, 'I will not let You go'? It means that you be patient in prayer. Do not tire quickly of asking, and do not get bored, and do not despair, however long the Lord tarries for you. But hold onto the Lord firmly, with tears, with metanoias, with supplications, with persistence, with wrestling.
