Mark du Mosch is a Rotterdam based producer and DJ who has earned the highest amount of respect in the Dutch alternative music scene in the past couple of years. The reason is simple: he dares to go beyond the obvious, his raw yet emotional signature sound being distinctive, versatile and stunningly creative. Expect perfectly executed analogue bliss from a craftsman who is slowly yet steadily making his way into the records bags of global house and techno connoisseurs.

The title track is a quirky display of what the multi-talented du Mosch has to offer. Complex but catchy melody lines meet a highly effective get-in-high gear bassline, bridging the gap between analogue roughness and subtle chords. If this bass-inflicted break down doesn’t tear up some early morning dance floors, nothing else will.

Hiccupping kicks, steady groovin’ hi-hats and analogue synth patterns that keep building momentum are the impelling ingredients for 'Living Up'. Cosmic warmth topped by lush, ancient sounding yet timeless drums. Emotive stuff that grabs your attention instantly.

From Russia with love; Moscow based cult producer Gesloten Cirkel kicks it up a notch with his rough-and-ready take on 'Living Up'. Wailing synths, piston hi-hats and an everything but straight-to-the-point bassline make for an epic esoteric house jam.

Highly anticipated by both fans and music critics, Fossil Archive 003 is a blanket of techno adulation, full of sky-high feeling through its warm and expansive energy.

‘Perisphinctes’ which received a radio exclusive on B.Traits’ BBC Radio 1 show in August, marks itself as part of the vanguard of modern techno. Purposely incompatible with the masses, it clearly lends itself to the underground, pushing its charisma in the direction of the label’s earthy vociferation. With its driving montage, its monolithic kick and general depth, it holds its own in any given setting.

Evoking a weighty hospitality of sound, ‘Tiziani’ supplements bleak with feel-good synth exertion. Straying from the conventional framework of techno, this is a stripped back, atonal portrait of effectual techno culture. Without confusion, this unblemished and wholesome howl of voice brings with it a rich, affable buzz, perfectly suiting both the big room and more intimate homely surroundings.

For Roberto, this far-reaching release imposes on none and invites all to clinch its hauntological embrace, and with previous releases gathering support from the who’s who of Techno, it’s sure to do just that.

After his successful remix of Orion’s “Gravity“ Johannes Volk returns to Polytone with his debut EP. Two excellent techno tracks are in place and a spaced out ambient piece called “It Could Happen“ describes the mysterious view from a spacecraft cockpit into the wideness of the universe. On the 
A-Side Volk blows the whistle of the EP’s title “Asteroid Riding“ with funky chords accompanied by a wide deep bassline, short samples, classic percussions and a cropped stomping kick-drum, that let you ride through the orbit. On the B-Side “Earthbound“ pounds with a broad hollow kick, arpeggiated synth’s, alerting sounds and a harmonically settled type of string-line that eases the element’s diversity like the blue planet’s gravity. Within the tracks that have been built to transport the feel of time and space, Johannes Volk again pushes himself on the cutting edge of electronic music.

Following on from his acclaimed debut album Sunset Service, Locked Groove presents a triple pack of highly charged remixes from Anastasia Kristensen, Alan Fitzpatrick and Prequel Tapes. These Sunset Service remixes are due 19 July on Hotflush. 

Employing his emotional, murky strand of darkened electronics, Prequel Tapes morphs ‘Eden’ into a shapeshifting industrial creature with a mind of its own. Conversely, Anastasia Kristensen looks towards glistening skies with a radiant fast techno spin of ‘Out Of Orbit’.

Last but not least, Alan Fitzpatrick’s take on ‘From Beyond’ is a pensive nod to the beauty and melancholy of classic rave culture.
