Caribou - Broke My Heart (Remix)

Drum and Bass track with a focus on an experimental bass and gritty overprocessed drums.  This track is dark and moody with short bursts of melancholy.  I started this as an experiment using EB FreakyTable on a guitar chord to see what kind of sound I could get out of it but had such an interesting result I decide to throw some drums on and make a whole track out of it.

This project also defines the transformation of the artist that has developed under different aliases for years.

This track was inspired by an interview Ivanka Trump gave about modeling that I saw on a reel.  It tickled me because it's so silly.  I recorded the reel, extracted the audio, and started working on this track.  B-side of my Orange Chicken EP.  Thanks for listening!
