Mon is a Melbourne based Aussie-German singer and songwriter. She has enjoyed working nationally and internationally. Recently, Cairns Post described the artist's voice as a "Ray of Sonic Sunshine." At 27, she has performed around much of Australia and the UK. Mon is excited to continue her artistic evolution, embarking on a Bachelor of Songwriting and Music Production at Melbourne Polytechnic, while residing on campus at Yarra House.

Before graduating from WAAPA, she received the Most Outstanding Senior Vocalist award, and Royal Overseas League Award. Highlights in Perth include: performing at Government House Ballroom, and Crown Casino for the International Women Awards, singing for remote communities at the Broome Convention Centre, working with WA Opera, performing as a soloist at the Perth Town Hall, and busking at the Fremantle Markets.

With support from the Ian Potter Cultural Trust, and the Phonographic Performance Company of Australia, Mon completed her Masters at the Wales International Academy of Voice. UK highlights include: a showcase at Convent Garden, being a finalist for the Douglas Reese Memorial Young Singer of the Year, airing on Welsh channel S4C while performing for the International Film Awards at Swansea College of Art, playing the lead role of Dido with Mid Wales Opera, being a Llangollen International Voice of the Future finalist, and singing for Dame Kiri Te Kanawa (ONZ CH DBE AC), and Richard Bonynge (AC CBE).

In 2020, Mon returned to her hometown of Melbourne and raised $1500 in her 'Bushfire Busk.' She completed a marketing internship on meditation, which is the practice that enables her to write music through a spiritual lens. For Mon, the pandemic was a period of simultaneous breakdown and breakthrough. This was when original songs began pouring out of her. 

Mon has written 20 songs since 2020. Her music delves into personal experiences in relationships, an ongoing non-linear journey to self-love, her spiritual approach to mental health, and feeling the need to “fit in” within society. These topics gave rise to awakenings which led to to expressing, creating, connecting, and healing through making music.
