FLUX 009

For this month's Flux, I decided to do something a little different. Still grounded in melody but a more downtempo mix. I wanted to record something that was fitting for summer days/nights, having a few drinks in the sun with this mix providing the soundtrack.

We've all been living in a very weird time this year, one thing that has brought people together and continues to connect us is music. Without the opportunity to get to clubs/events over the last few months a lot of us have got behind the decks in our homes to get that fix (me included). I've pushed myself to press record more when mixing. 

I've decided to keep pushing myself to do this at least once a month, hopefully more based on the amount of great music that has been produced during lockdown. With this Flux is born.

Starting the new year by taking a look back. It's safe to say that 2020 was one of the stranger years. Our scene took a real hammering globally but one thing that didn't suffer was the creativity & quality within the melodic space.
