The purple myrtle sprang from the dead corn


When the sun went down and the dew came on,

the Dame o' the Thistles 

dawned like a rooster and crowed; 

'O what a crop 
of mummy wheat!'

(He used to dwell in a meadow and play  with the meadowsmaids)

with each clap of his mighty wings

and with each hoot of his war-horn 

he frightened all the thistles in the field until their clocks fell off

If you are a bumblebee 

do you think you could sell a bottle of rum for a silk dress?

If you're a cow

do you think you could sell a colt for a fresh birth?

If you're a cat

do you think you could sell a mouse for an owl?

If you're a mouse

do you think you could sell a cat for a flea?

It is certain that these wild, wild animals of the hedgerow and drill
do not trade;
each one must be hunted and killed for bread;

and a fox, a wolf, and a fox-man,

must earn his bread by the killing of a monster.

He died in the womb of our dreams; 

only when we knew him,could we show his signs.

Cowritten with Rhizoman in prehistoric times and given some new lyrics since I have forgotten most of the old ones, this little rocker is a about a real beach on Syros, near Poseidonia. Take the road left on Agathopes beach and find this magic place with golden Sands and Glittering sea and on most days, very little people. If she is there, give her my regards.

In the distant Subert Humlin, Gory Rallagher, Sank Frinatra, and Dats Fomino Galaxies, Her Majesty's Royal Intergalactic Empire is under siege by the sinister Khazargonians and their elite squads of shock troopers- the Jearl Pamians and Goundsardenians. Her Majesty has commissioned an elite force led by her three of Her Majesty's Space Navy's finest officers with several primary objectives, chief among them was the following directive: to combine the great tones of surf and fifties rock... with disco!
These elite officers are:  Admiral Krank of the SS Belgrade (Guitar, bass, beats, intergalactic espionage and assassination by exploding cigars); and Captain Mirth of the SS Zagreb- (Guitar, piano, synth, beats, and advanced thermal detonation). And our very own clockwork man on the drums, Mo Sheen (https://soundcloud.com/user-424452711).  Unfortunately, despite bravely serving Her Majesty's Space Navy, Vice Commandant Dubois has been court martialed and convicted for conduct not befitting an officer and counterfeiting baseball cards, stripped of his command of the SS Budapest, and dishonorably discharged from Her Majesty's Space Navy, though certain recordings of his guitar, synth, bass, beats, and forward deployable laser blasters remain here memorialized for posterity. Let it be known that though he has sunk to the very depths of ignominy, we wish him well in his new venture, the Spandex Spanktroverse.
