I love old school dub (think Prince Jammy, Scientist, King Tubby) and reggae - not a massive fan of dub that sounds digital on purpose. So although I do everything on a computer I try where possible to use sounds that are authentic and have a 'real world' feel.
I also have a soft spot for hip hop - but as I can't rap to save my life I mostly makes beats/wait for hip hop remix comps to come up so I have some vocals to play with.
