I have got a new release forthcoming the February 3 in a french Dub label called VATICAEN PRODUCTION. It is a compilation of tunes which were released last years ago in the label and with some new exclusive tunes.
Reggae, Dub & Jungle music featuring Spanish Singer Lady EMZ and guitarist bassist and engineer composer french friend Benjamin Moysan aka Nayjam Bensonim.
The compilation will be free in Bandcamp but every support is appreciated

Cool Up Records presents their single with The Sherlock Horns entitled Chase the Storm, which promises to be the first in a series of instrumental tracks with what is already the label's official brass section.

Chase the Storm is Cool Up Records' first 7" single, which includes a brass mix on the A-side and a Dub version on the B-side. This is the seventh vinyl release from the Spanish label, after achieving a notorious international distribution in their previous releases.

In this new release we can appreciate the influence of the steppers rhythms of the late 70s, with a solid rhythm that allows The Sherlock Horns to demonstrate their musical quality. The good work of this brass section is noticeable throughout the whole song, alternating effective melodies with well executed solos. The sound of Toni Martin on trombone, Pedro Caballero on saxophone and Pepe Rincon on Trumpet makes clear the knowledge they have of Jamaican music. On Chase the Dub we find a Dub version that exposes the solid tempo of this release, spiced with surround effects and a powerful bass line that will delight Sound System fans.

As usual, the design of the new official Cool Up Records 7" is the work of the talented Mr. John Vanilla.

Nomat'X expérimentent leurs créations sur les différents courants de la musique dub underground en ayant comme influences le dub français et le dub à l'anglaise. 
C'est donc dans un environnement électro dub steppa que les deux membres de ce groupe puisent leurs inspirations. 
 
C'est en 2010 que "Damanii" le machiniste fonde en solo le projet, il partage alors la scène avec les grands de la scène dub française, comme "Boudou" de "Dub Addict", "Uzul" de "Kaly Live Dub", "Dubamix", "Fedayi Pacha", "Junior Coni", et d'autres. Il a également apporté sa contribution au net label "Fresh Poulp Production" pour la compilation "Dub Tentacles vol III" avec le titre "Western". 
 
En 2012 l'EP "Dub Echo" sort sur le net label "Paproota", puis en 2013 l'album auto-produit "Noise Low Land". 
En 2014 "Oliv" le batteur de "Khoe-WA" rejoint l'aventure avec un premier live de dingue au "Télérama Dub Festival" aux cotés des Tontons d'"High Tone", "Dubmatix" et "Tetra Hydro K". 
Suivront en 2015 "Dubakt" et en 2016 "System Fall Down" de nouveau chez "Paproota", avec les featurings de Kamana, R-DUG et Khoe-WA. 
En 2020, l'EP "Archetape" voit le jour, sur fond de confinement, avec en bonus une collaboration avec General Bundi, du crew Green Tingz au mic. 
En 2022, Nomat'x explore de nouvelles sonorités, avec l'envie de proposer une vision différente de son style, plus dark et saturé, traduisant sans doute l'ambiance mouvementée de ces deux années.

The name Katharsys derives from ‘an extreme change in emotion that results in renewal, restoration and revitalization’. And after one listen to the forthcoming LP sampler which French producers Hugo and Tom have been crafting in sonic solitude, you’ll understand why they chose this namesake. Following the start of their journey together in 2001, the duo began producing their very first drum & bass tracks. Inspired by the likes of Tech Itch, Kemal, Konflict and other heavyweight bass legends from across the darker end of the spectrum, the outfit have followed the same ethos. And that’s to transpose the primal instinct of Catharsis into every record.

Whether it’s Neurofunk or Darkstep, Katharsys have turned their hands to every sub-genre, across a wide variety of labels. Imprints such as Barcode, Obscene, Future Sickness and Guerilla have grown the pair from strength to strength, increasing their notoriety whilst helping to push them throughout the European club scene.
