Monkey Goddess is a duo of songwriting-multi-instrumentalist-lovers, Leslie Miller and Nick Sirio. Together, they combine global musical influences such as Tuvan throat singing, beatbox, bamboo flutes, afro-Cuban rhythm, classical clarinet, electronic production, guitar, harmonica, banjo, and more. Their music creates sonic fabrics that carry listeners through a wide spectrum of emotion—familiarity and strangeness, chaos and justice, hardship and peace, movement and stillness, darkness and light. The two share a goal of creating shared experiences that uplift listeners through the unifying power of music. Their music is here to remind us that we exist, that creation is ongoing, and that when harmonies combine, voices of the Soul emerge to urge us to sing along.
