Monkey League welcomes Carsten Halm from Cologne. One of the guys from Cologne's almost biggest Open Air Events „GRU:NToN“ has created two Melodic House & Techno tunes. The EP is entitled  „Sonnenstrahl“. The Title track boasts a myriad of stabs, effects and other synth wizardry and got a positve vibe, while „Mondlicht“ has got a more melancholic flavoured athmosphere. Tom & Wood rhythm-elements guiding the big sidechained saw lines through the track. We are ready to start the summer!

The second track „ Cold Affection“, is more rough and minimalized Tech House, reduced to the groove with arp lines and looped vocal chops.

The time, when label founder Jens Lissat started with music was back in the 80's. He was one of the first Techno Players in Germany. As many different genres of Techno developed by the years, it's time now for „Monkey League“. Established Tech House Music from Cologne/Germany, with also deep influences. The sound is unique and will be a bastion for electronic groovy Tech House Music.
