[ɔstˈɛnd] Mixtape No. 18 by [Alissa]

here is my recording from a wild festival called soria gathering. this one took place way up north in norway during the midnight sun, on an island way out. i played at the lovely beach stage close to ocean, where the horizon was pure and magical.

the mix contains some proper warm analog atmospheric minimal house vibes, something i thought would fit the analog sound of the function one by the great shepherd soundsystem. also the warmth of the sun that never sets felt mutual to the sound i went for.

it contains some hiccups here and there, but if you ask me this is just a beautiful charm in these times where mixes seems way too perfect, in my opinion. some errors just seems proper and original when mixing in an era filled with the indulgence of perfection.

Wintergarten is a place where I feel I can really be myself, and this Sunday night set was one of my all-time favourites. With some bonus crowd noises, so you can feel the energy of the floor that night 🔥🔥

At this last edition of Georgie's Wundergarten we had the pleasure of opening our favorite stage at Ruigoord, 'Het Wilgenportaal'. 

We were given 2.5 hours to travel through one of our favorite genres. Sharing a deep love for minimal techno, we've dug deep into our archives to bring you one of our favorite gems.

This mix was recorded live on the @sisyphos Strand Stage – a moment filled with friendship, celebration, and pure energy. You’ll hear not only the music, but also the voices of my friends and the beautiful crowd, captured by accident (was intending to record just music, don’t know how it ended like this but i think its great:)) yet perfectly preserving the atmosphere. It brings back the flashbacks of Sisyphos and @ezofestival – two unforgettable experiences of connection and freedom.

KOOKYCAST #48 - Jellin is an alias of Marcin Jellinek, Wrocław based DJ and event organizer. His adventure with mixing was preceded by hundreds of hours on the dance floor, usually in the first row, from where he smoothly jumped to the other side of the DJ booth. Experience from the dance floor and cooperation with Warsaw's Castle Rave and Wrocław's Klimat allowed him to quickly acclimatize behind the decks and fulfill his passion for music, through which he shares energy with others. The results of this mix were not long in coming – in just over a year since his debut, Jellin has been heating up dancefloors in his hometown of Wrocław, Warsaw, and Kraków, as well as at international festivals like the Garbicz Festival, where his b2b set with Nowosad was warmly welcomed by dancers from around the world. Events he co-created, such as 40:AM at Wrocław's Transformator and Discoteca Eleganza at Wiskotta Palace, also proved to be major attendance and organizational successes.

His sets are dominated by pumping, funky and groove-filled tech house, occasionally diversified with hypnotic minimal, indie dance melodies or other varieties of always danceable electronics.
