„Chef e bruche Feeerie!“ - Collie Herb’s Geschenk an die Reggaenews.ch-LeserInnen können alle Werktätigen mit voller Kehle mitsingen. Denn wer freut sich an langen, grauen Arbeitstagen nicht auch auf die verdienten Ferien? Da nickt sogar der Chef mit dem Kopf mit.

Der Oltner MC und Sänger und sein Homie Acid flowen easy über den fröhlichen Riddim und beschreiben, was sie alles Gutes finden an der schönsten Zeit im Jahr und geben allerlei Tipps ab, was man den in seinen Ferien so anstellen kann. Das Wort „Ferien“ kommt übrigens aus dem Lateinischen und bedeutet „Feste, Festtage“ und so feiern die beiden auch eine kleine Party und werfen sich die Rhymes nur so gegenseitig an den Kopf. Message: Wahrer Luxus ist die Zeit, welche einem für sich selbst bleibt!

Collie’s Feature-Gast Acid T ist in der Szene übrigens kein unbeschriebenes Blatt; hat er doch erst gerade kürzlich den Titel am Ultimate-Battle geholt, welches als die inoffizielle Schweizermeisterschaft im Freestyle-Rap gilt und zudem sein erstes Mixtape veröffentlicht. Auch live harmonieren die beiden gut, man darf also den Tune sicher auch mal während eines Konzertes erwarten.

Der Riddim stammt aus der Schmiede des umtriebigen Producers und DJ’s Max RubaDub, welcher Old School HipHop-Drums mit einem nicen Studio One-Sample verbindet. Passend zum Retro-Groove hat Manuel Schiffels ein nettes Cover designt.

Each one will attempt to capture the feeling and direction of the night, giving those who were there a reminder of the events they experienced while giving those who were not present a fragmented distortion of what they missed.

Originally recorded live in the ENTER.2 Sake Bar at Space, Ibiza and broadcast live on BBC Radio 1, Thursday, July 12, 2012.

This takes my 2 hour ENTER.Sake set and compresses it into an hour long version that gives you a fragmented taste of that evening.
