D.Vices is a project of Jack Coleman aka JAK, a DJ, producer, organizer and live performer based in Portland, Oregon. Launched in 2020, the project delivers a mutant blend of electro, breaks, techno and bass. D.Vices draws from Jack’s 25 year immersion in rave and dance music culture, shaking up a wide range of influences and turning them inside out to create a new sound that’s both distinctive and familiar. His 2021 release The Heist on Resource Records reached the #1 sales position in the Beatport electro (modern/classic) category. He’s also signed to Alien Breakdance, net label IIDEO and techno label UKR.

They don't like to stick to one genre - it's more about how the music makes you feel and move. You can expect diverse selections which are playful, with lots of percussive, spacey melodies and instrumental overtones.

Toronto modular synth artist and DJ WeTurnToRed (a.k.a. Shamanta Chandran) is a Syrian-born Tamil-Canadian producer/DJ/ singer/songwriter and scientist based in Toronto. Growing up on the city’s outskirts, she studied and classically trained in opera and jazz as an arts high school kid. Her deep love for electronic music was ignited after her older brother introduced her to the mid-90s Toronto rave scene.
After experimenting in the studio for over a decade, delving into melodic nuances of modular and analog synths, it was clear that growling basslines and haunting melodies were the subjects of her affection. She made her mark in Toronto’s electronic music scene through live hardware deep house/techno-focused sets. As a DJ, her mixes run into genre-spanning territory with her opening for Waajeed, DJ Minx, Orphix, Patrice Scott, Dawd and Tony Humpheries. 
Her newest release for 2023 is her EP Rogue Planet which reflects her early life experiences as a South Asian immigrant who journeyed from the Middle East to North America as a child. Out on Toronto label Cosmic Resonance, it follows notable releases on Planet E’s Detroit Love compilation series, MSTRKRFT’s ORO Records, and Detroit imprint PITS. She’s been featured on Stamp The Wax, Inverted Audio and Rinse France, DJ Mag and Metal Magazine. 
As a South Asian woman in the electronic modular space, WeTurnToRed is an artist to watch.

@jos-p-saez es uno de los artistas nacionales en la escena del Electro que está expandiendose a nivel internacional debido a su gran calidad técnica y su delicada selección musical, lo que le ha llevado a ser invitado por algunas plataformas tales como Cyber Domain, Sesiones:Electrónica, Tracklistings o la más reciente Nawal.

José es uno de los miembros del "equipo humano" que hay detrás del Colectivo UEMA, equipo encargado de promover la música electrónica en todo el país, y también forma parte de la crew Electronic Wave, los promotores de eventos en la ciudad de Sevilla con artistas nacionales e internacionales.

Para esta ocasión José Sáez nos trae un mix cargado de Electro en sus diferentes formas, donde da cabida a varias generaciones de este estilo musical, y además, con mucha clase a los platos que te atrapa de principio a fin.

For us is a pure pleasure to introduce our next guest from our mixes series. He comes from Albacete (Spain) and his name: José Sáez.

José Sáez is rapidly expanding internationally in the Electro scene due his great technique and his delicate selection. As a consequence, he was already invited to play for different platforms, such Cyber Domain, Sesiones Electronica, Tracklisting or the most recent, Nawal.

José is one of the “humans” behind UEMA Collective, in charge of promoting electronic music all across Spain, and also is part of the Electronic Wave crew, promoting events with national and International artists in Seville.

For this episode, José Sáez is bringing us a mix fully loaded with Electro in different styles, giving us a full perspective of all of this genre, with a delicate technique that will make you listen from beginning til the end.
