Peace in Noise is the Los Angeles DJ Duo @dersurhodes and @kennethpaltrow

At the end of last year we had the opportunity to meet these amazing gentleman and host them at our stage during Pismocean​ Festival. It was safe to say that we immediately had quite a few musical commonalities. This week we are very happy to have them join our guest series and have thoroughly enjoyed the mix they prepared for us.

As well as being a performing duo, Peace in Noise acts as a collective and produces a variety of events in West LA, Santa Monica, and Venice including their charity series called NightCause​ which raises money for a charity of their headliner’s choosing. Dear community, with pleasure we announce a delicious new addition to our cocktail menu: Isabeau Fort mixed an exclusive Daiquiri for Schirmchendrink!
 
She is one of the founders behind the Cloudcokoouland collective, member at Cellarius as well as one half of the Berlin-based DJ duo Brothers. Winning her spurs in the university town of Marburg, Isy today is a welcome guest in venues all over Germany.

Unsure if it’s the fact that Isi is just back from a stay in Thailand or the South American origins of the Daiquiri cocktail – but these warm and uplifting beats definitely drive off the the cold March winds over here... we say thank you and joyfully have another sip!

Mappey hätten wirklich keinen trefflicheren Namen als “Champion Chord” für dieses gut aufgeräumte Stück Musik finden können. Kitzelnde Percussions kombiniert mit soliden Bässen kreieren eine aufgeweckte Soundlandschaft welche man sonst nur nach einer chaotischen Sommernacht eines Festivals aufzeigen könnten. Aber das wahre Highlight dieser wirklich smarten Soundkomposition ist der dynamisch kickende Synth, welcher deine Aufmerksamkeit fordert wie die Unteretage von Sharon Stone in Basic Instinct. Ein ganz dickes Dankeschön an den NO DIVAs Labelchef ARNO für den tollen Remix.

Naming Mappey's new release "Champion Chord" could not have described this well organised piece of music any better. Tikling percussions combined with heavy but soft sounding bottom ends creating an awaking soundscape, which normally only your eyes are able to witness during one of those messy summer mornings. But the true highlight of this smart composition is the dynamic kicking synth, which grabs your attention like Sharon Stones fanny in Basic Instinct. Special thanks to the NO DIVAS labelhead ARNO for the great remix.
