christmas is always a tough time for me. i have a love / hate relationship with growing up and during december i always feel very nostalgic when i realize my childhood is gone. i remember being about 3 years old when i got my first nintendo DS. it changed my life forever, it was my first video-game "console" and it made me really happy. this is a tribute to that. to my passion for christmas music, to old retro games, to my neverending feeling of loneliness and to the wonderful time my family always tried to give me on december 24th. i loved every part of making this piece, it has awakened my love for music again and i'm very thankful for that. and for you, reading this right now. i thank all of you for giving me the chance to do this and give you a piece of who i am, how i feel, and what i've experienced. anyways, it was fully composed, written, arranged, mixed and mastered by me. i basically did everything, but my friends gave me a lot of helpful feedback as well, and my awesome friend diego guerrero de luna helped me play the piano for the outro. :) i hope this song brings you back to some lovely or not-so-lovely memories. i just hope it makes you feel something. merry christmas from me to you.
