Apache Adams

Going by the moniker Monky, electronic music producers Keith Giordano and Kyle Lensch began releasing music in the summer of 2019. Incorporating the ambient funk of Tame Impala, abstract hip-hop elements of Flying Lotus, and The Avalanches’ sampled-based collages, Monky mixes these styles with a splash of levity to create an imaginative and dynamic sound. Primarily instrumental blends of trip-hop, funk, and dance music, Monky unites the meditative with the absurd. 
The duo formed while working at a rehearsal studio in NYC; with access to a 75 year collection of instruments from all around the world, they used this to create their debut release, Jungle Jammies. As audio engineers, they’ve worked countless productions with some of the biggest names in the business, affording them a unique perspective of New York City’s music industry. That perspective, 
combined with a mutual life-long pursuit of creating art, has fostered the creativity upon which Monky thrives.
