This recording is the 1st half of my 3.5hr closing set on Main Stage @ Faunalis Music & Arts.   Raw and uncut.  Unfortunately the 2nd half of this recording was never captured due to some tech issues - batteries (lol).

This mix was written in Melbourne’s first lockdown, during the winter of 2020.
It was such an uncertain time for pretty much everyone on the planet. 
Not knowing when we could experience music together again or travel the world again (both of which keep me breathing), I decided to retreat into the only certainty I could find, my music.
I put this set together in that isolation, a solo pursuit I used to express what I was feeling throughout that winter.
Looking back now, having just come through the other side of the worlds longest lockdown, this mix is still all I have to say about the past 18 months.

As summer gradually yields to fall, we find ourselves reminiscing about the long, sun-soaked days spent on sandy shores, where lunch gatherings seemed to cease time. The rhythms of time refuse to let us pause, as we swim in circles at the waters embrace. Much like Friedrich Kunath's painting suggests, 'You won't believe where I am.' I found myself lounging on a couch at Casa Reia in Caparica, Portugal, nursing a freshly broken leg, surrounded by friends and my gracious hosts: Sacha, Melody, Emil, and Duda. I played songs that I had cherished over the decades—tunes meant for listening, swaying, sipping, and ultimately, for fading into. I hope you enjoy the journey. - Miro

She is one of the founders behind the Cloudcokoouland collective, member at Cellarius as well as one half of the Berlin-based DJ duo Brothers. Winning her spurs in the university town of Marburg, Isy today is a welcome guest in venues all over Germany.

Unsure if it’s the fact that Isi is just back from a stay in Thailand or the South American origins of the Daiquiri cocktail – but these warm and uplifting beats definitely drive off the the cold March winds over here... we say thank you and joyfully have another sip!
