MINI INTERVIEW

How do you describe your own personal music style?

I trained to be a professional dancer for 14 years (stopped when I went to university), so I’ve been taught to express my emotions through music and movement. This definitely carried over into my music style! I love higher BPM music with a bouncing feel that makes people want to dance, no matter whether they’re sitting, on the dancefloor, or resting on the side. Life can be tough and I want people to feel lighter and free while listening to my music.

What was your favourite party or festival moment?

Above & Beyond’s Group Therapy 250 event in 2017 at The Gorge, an amazing outdoor venue in the US. It was my first full weekend festival - I’d only done day-long events before that. My friends flew out from New York, picked me up in a van, and were so kind in introducing me to their crew. I’m only 155cm, so one of the guys from our group that I’d just met that weekend asked if I wanted to be on his shoulders and experience the birds-eye view. It was INCREDIBLE - so peaceful and energising seeing everyone with their hands up, lights and outfits on, and just living in the moment. That was one of the calmest moments of my life.

How would you describe your approach to Social Media as an artist?

I come from the esports world, so a lot of my followers actually come from the gaming space. Social media is often misleading and can create a lot of feelings of low self-worth or not being “good enough”. I’m not perfect AT ALL and I’m definitely the same way in my social posts and content. My focus is showing people my authentic life - whether it’s my 60-hour work weeks, the most successful moments in my life, or those messy “what was I thinking?” times, I want to be relatable so people know that they’re not alone in this wild journey called life.

This weekend we're with AorMos, who started out as a DJ when he was 15 years old and has enjoyed playing electronic music for over three decades. At first he played the sounds closest to the underground scene in many clubs and discos in Spanish territory, to make the leap to the Minimal sound at the end of 2000.
From that year on he became interested in all aspects of Techno, from its purest roots, wounding the most melodic vibrations, deep sounds and progressive aspects, but always looking at producers and record labels that offer great quality in their productions.
Since April 2016 he has been running his radio show "Modulating the air" on cosmosradio.de.

One more year, and with a little delay, my new selection of the last year 2022. A year full of many collaborations, B2B and my style series, so it has been very difficult to have to choose the best tracks for this compilation, having to leave many tracks in the trunk, since fortunately, there is very good music, with what would be more than one night playing. So unfortunately I have had to leave great producers and artists behind. I hope you'll excuse me. This is my live set for our Unconditional party at Samsara, beautifully tucked away in one of the sacred jungle valleys of our beloved island and with sheltered shores, the venue was the perfect location to explore the vibrant energy of our community by mixing talented musicians with visual artists in a combined effort to create once more magical memories.
