“Coco, duérmete ya” is an adult lullaby. Traditionally, the speaker of a lullaby is a mother or a wet nurse who sings the child to sleep. In our song, a mother sings to the coco - a nursery cautionary figure equivalent to the bogeyman - to put it to sleep, afraid that it will cease to exist because the child has already fallen asleep. When no one is afraid of the coco (when the sleeping child stops thinking of it), the coco no longer exists. In the same way, the mother fears that, if she falls asleep and stops thinking of herself, there will be no one to think of her (who will watch over her, who will tuck her in?) and she too will no longer exist. She will sink into the abyss, or into sleep: that which swallows the coco when the child falls asleep.

Haruka returns to the Podcast series with a menacing second call to battle. This one’s a live recording of his closing set at Bassiani back in May, a seven-hour beast that had everyone breaking a sweat. The Japanese phenom is a master of mood, he builds elaborate compositions inch by inch, infusing his tympanic formulations with strange psychedelic effects and exuberant breaks. Don’t expect them to pay off quickly though, these incremental trips are a reward for the truest connoisseurs of deep Techno. Looping and formidable, Bassiani Podcast 140 is the awesome sound of eastern promise.

Here it is! First hip-hop/rnb upload since quite a few years now! I was feelin like producing something a bit "pumpy"!!!
I quickly made the arrangement: I choose to add a "rnb" kinda bridge in the middle. That's because I found it interesting to visualize the track as performedby a rapper and rnb singerin duo!
I also have to say that you will probably notice the use of some unusual sound (e.g. white noise). Those are parts of my house influences!

Enjoy! And maybe use your imagination and add some lyrics on top of it!

Silent Season have carried the music of Submersion and Mon0 independently before, but now the dub techno producers have teamed up to take their sound onto new plains of exploration. The sound palette is consistent with both their music and that of the label, but the familiar dancefloor tropes have been jettisoned in favour of a more meditative end result, leading in with the achingly beautiful tundra excursion of "Beginning Of The End". From there the album drifts with glacial motion through a range of finely crafted soundscapes, wielding a world of rumbling, harmonious noise in the middle distance without ever losing that seductive dub techno ambience.

Submersion & mon0 ~ Passage of Silence [SSV14]

Lewis Taylor’s Lovelight has been in my 'tracks to edit' folder for years and I finally got round to it as lockdown began. Itis perfect MOR disco that felt like it could be locked into a deeper groove. The arrangement has been nipped and tucked in the right place, added acid, bells and whistles plus studio trickery for an updated, more playable version.
