Our next atist is a multidisciplinary project created recently by the evolution of different artistic and exploratory stages. This project has developed different facets, including a career as an interpreter and sound designer when experimenting with a wide variety of musical sequences and soundscapes.

It seeks the integration of oscillating interpersonal ideas among the variety of solid conceptions. This project also defines the transformation of the artist that has developed under different aliases for many years.

Each interpretation is made to create an atmosphere based on sound art, generative art and Techno in its different variations.

Too many of us are obsessed with the future. Starting from an early age, we are taught to focus on constantly trying to reach greater heights. Since middle school our eyes are on the prize. Since then, we are looking forward to high school. In high school, the pressure is on to get into a reputable college. From college, we are focused on getting a well-paying job. And now you think, “OK. I’ve worked hard. Now, I can relax.” But no, you can’t. Now, you are working toward that next promotion. And the promotion after that. And the promotion after that...

This constant obsession makes us completely forget where we came from. “The future ceased to exist at the same time we believed ourselves to be gods” says Alex. And we couldn’t agree more.

Alex is the man behind Doctrina Natura’s project. Born and raised in Sevillia (Spain) he combines techno and ambient with a very marked personality. Exquisite and powerful are the first words that come to mind to define his work, where he will soon release a new almighty album on our beloved @oslated

Alex ends up telling us: “We are facing a moment of rebirth, because life is nothing but a series of cyclical events that return to the origin again and again. Nature will decide when and how we will return to it”.

Initially as part of the duo disørda, he started to release music under his second pseudonym in 2019. His musical identity has ever been evolving, from a raw industrial to today's deep and hypnotic sound.

Vanta(he/him)

Originally from a metalcore and hardcore background he has always enjoyed electronic and experimental music. Heavily influenced by this and the techno scene in Leipzig, Germany with its well known Institut fuer Zukunft his focus are impulsive rhythms, dissociative sounds and dark and eerie atmospheres. As a founding member of PVC he is also co-organising raves in clubs and woods around the Leipzig area. For a few years now he has been exploring the world of producing. Releasing Tracks on Labels like Aarden Records, Crescent London, Further Sessions, Proselytizing or Charybdis and various Podcasts he is establishing himself in the scene always seeking to refine his sound.

We are very happy to welcome Vanta as the second creative head in our mixtape series.

MTRL (Material) is an art project by Audio Engineer and Sounddesigner Lukas Weinlein, who is always been fascinated with soundscapes to which he could relate to emotionally. 
Playing various instruments for years, he started experimenting with different sounds at a young age, tapping into many different styles of music. 
This insightful journey shaped his current understanding of music and ultimately led him to the endless possibilities of hypnotic electronic music, inspired by the infinite cosmos and organic voices of nature. Having bonded with a multitude of great artists helped to refine his style and created a sphere of inspiration around him. 
His deep, experimental - and sometimes dark sounds- resonate with the audience and invites them on a trip to remember. 
The name for this specific art project was chosen because the definition of the word material, the matter from which a thing is or can be made, fits the purpose of the project very good. 
So the aim of MTRL is to create an audiovisual experience from existing or non-existing matter for open-minded brains.

MTRL (Material) 은 항상 그가 정서적으로 교감할 수 있는 사운드스케이프에 매력을 느끼는 오디오 엔지니어이자 사운드 디자이너인 Lukas Weinlein 의 프로젝트이다.
여러 다양한 악기를 수 년간 연주하며, 그는 젊은 시절 색다른 사운드들을 실험하기 시작했다.
이 통찰력 있는 여정은 음악에 대한 그의 이해도를 형성했고, 종국엔 자연의 무한한 코스모스와 목소리들에 영감을 받아 최면적인 전자음악의 무한한 가능성을 이끌어냈다. 여러 훌륭한 예술가들과 유대감을 갖게 된 것은, 그의 스타일을 다듬는 데 도움이 되었고 그는 이것을 중심으로 고유한 영역을 만들어냈다. 
그의 깊고 실험적이고 때로는 어두운 소리는 관객들에게 반향을 불러일으키고 그들을 기억을 위한 여행에 초대한다. 
이 예술 프로젝트의 명칭은 용어 Material (재료) 의 정의, ‘어떤 것이 만들어지거나 만들어질 수 있는 질료’ 라는 뜻이 프로젝트의 목적에 매우 잘 맞기 때문에 선택되었다. 
결국 MTRL 의 목적은 개방적인 사유를 위해 현존하거나 존재하지 않는 물질로부터 시청각적 경험을 창조하는 것이다.
