L’EP  TTOG Italian/Style, nuova tappa nella ricerca espressiva di Francesca Sortino,  contiene cinque tracce, le prime a confezionare un intero progetto con testi originali in italiano nella carriera della cantante e compositrice. La vocalità, e anche il tessuto sonoro, pur facendo tesoro della profonda conoscenza dell’idioma jazzistico di Francesca, sono felicemente svincolate dai cliché del genere. Il canto (e le parole) tessono trame coraggiose che toccano gli estremi della tenerezza e del bizzarro (un bizzarro profondamente sensato). Le parti strumentali elettroniche - comprodotte dall’autrice con DJ Diego - disegnano una sorta di triphop visionario e  _sui generis_ , con chiari ma originalissimi richiami all’emozione diretta del soul classico come alle pieghe meno ovvie delle forme più moderne della lunga storia della black music.
