As a balearic artist, the balearic house sound is in his blood and you can feel that in his tracks, which often feature that foot tapping and head bopping groove that is synonymous with underground house music. His very first releases quickly hit the charts on Beatport, and for more than 15 years, Frink has celebrated over 70 chart topping releases, which have been played far and wide by DJs all over the world. Fast forward to now and since 2020 Frink has been crowned as one of the top 14 most charted artists within the Deep House genre on Beatport.

Not only that, Frink can boast over 19 thousand monthly listeners on Spotify, all of which are real and organic and not linked to any paid promotion with his success coming from the music itself. He prefers to be a man that keeps himself in the shadows of the underground and let the music do the talking for him.  


As a DJ, Frink has played in many countries across Europe including Sonar Festival, ADE and in Ibiza and it is normal to find him laying down vibes at Sisyphos in Berlin. He also has residencies in Mallorca such as at Mysa and can often be found involved in showcases for record labels Expmental Records and Berlin label Bondage Music. 

We caught up with Frink to find out more about his new release, the tranquillity of Mallorca and his love for the German capital.

Shaun Reeves is an internationally-acclaimed DJ, producer, and label owner, and alongside best friends Ryan Crosson, Lee Curtiss, and Seth Troxler, they formed Visionquest, a genre-busting DJ collective, and live act, that also turned into a record label of the same name.
Since his move to Berlin, Shaun Reeves has been enthralling audiences in the world’s most revered clubs on both sides of the Atlantic, with a highly distinctive mixture of house and techno.

Durante los primeros años del proyecto, Simon y Matias se desenvuelven entre las escenas musicales que se les presentan en su entorno; así como el downtempo, el techno, house, minimal; inspirándolos a encontrar y formar su propia personalidad musical.

El interés por la calidad y mérito musical los lleva a sumergirse en el diseño de espacios sonoros profundos y minimalistas con una mezcla de estilos entre el dub/minimal/house/ambient. 

Monœ ha compartido escenarios con dj’s nacionales e internacionales como Nu Zau, Janeret, Varhat, DJ Tennis, Momo Trosman, entre otros. 

Forma parte del colectivo Proper Collective en Tulum, México y de la disquera Between Dimensions de Estados Unidos.

Monœ is a collaboration project by Simon Pakal & Matias Cantú, a duo formed between the jungles of Playa del Carmen, Mexico and the clubs of Berlin, Germany.

Inspired by both musical scenes and a mix of genres featuring from downtempo, techno, house, minimal; leads them to form their own musical personality featuring a unique mixture of these genres.

With an appreciation for music with merit and high technical quality they immerse themselves focusing on the design of deep and minimalist sound spaces with a mix of styles between dub/minimal/house/ambient.

Monœ has shared stages with international DJs such as Nu Zau, Janeret, Varhat, DJ Tennis, Momo Trosman, among others.

The Duo forms part of Proper Collective in Tulum, Mexico and to Between Dimensions label in the United States.
