"From the Great Lakes to the Atlantic Ocean, snaking through the heart of Quebec's most populous regions, the St. Lawrence River has always been a vital part of the life of this province well before colonization. At the same time, a nourishing river and a true maritime highway, it still plays a leading role in the economy, transport, tourism and culture.

It is in honor of this majestic torrent, that the group formed of Antoine Cuillerier and Gabriel Béland is named. Antoine, working on a merchant ship and Gabriel, from the Gaspésie coastal region, do indeed have a close link with this river. Their meeting took place in Rimouski during college, where they also met the other members of the Groupe Délusion, with whom they participated in several electronic music events under their respective projects.

Saint Laurent is a tribute to the grandeur and heritage of this tributary, in the form of a meeting between underground electronic music and Quebec culture. The project allows both artists to use their creativity to create a work midway between the show and the improvisation. A carefully selected mix of original pieces and well-known melodies harmonizes perfectly with the aggressive energy of Saint Laurent. Prepare to dive deep into the abyss.

Des Grands Lacs à l’océan Atlantique, serpentant au cœur des régions les plus peuplées du Québec, le fleuve Saint-Laurent a toujours occupé une place déterminante dans la vie de cette province et ce bien avant la colonisation. À la fois fleuve nourricier et véritable autoroute maritime, il joue encore aujourd’hui un rôle de premier plan dans l’économie, le transport, le tourisme, la culture et les loisirs.

C’est ainsi en l’honneur de ce majestueux torrent, que le groupe formé de Antoine Cuillerier et Gabriel Béland se nomme. Antoine, travaillant sur les navires marchands et Gabriel, originaire de la région côtière de la Gaspésie, ont effectivement un lien étroit avec ce fleuve. Leur rencontre se fit à Rimouski lors du collège, ville où aussi ils ont rencontré les autres membres du Groupe Délusion, avec lesquels ils ont participés à plusieurs évènements de musique électronique sous leur projet respectif.

Saint Laurent est un hommage à la grandeur et l’héritage de cet affluent, sous la forme d’une rencontre entre la musique électronique underground et la culture du Québec.
