Australia's fasting rising talent "Luke Alessi" continues his trajectory with a second standalone EP on mobilee. We loved his "Matter" EP and Squire "Hundred Falls" Remix so much, they were featured on our Totally Mobilee 2021 and Mobilee Rooftop Summer 2021 compilations.

We have no doubt that "Nothingness" and "Molecular Motions" will similarly become part of our continued soundscape.

"Nothingness" delivers a true journey through Luke's already signature sound. A vocal story leads the way, whilst unique instruments interplay and drive the pace into crescendos and through moments of understated euphoria.

"Molecular Motions" kicks straight into a dreamy and rhythmic dance experience powered by worldly drums, where you hear a glimpse of an alternate plane through word, song, and emotion.

Produced by founding Scenarios crew members MAGA, Sean Doron, Emanuel Satie & Tim Engelhardt, the featuring artists make their combined intentions known from the outset, conjuring an uncompromising blend of hypnotic kicks, whirring synth lines and exquisitely layered samples. The release of Side By Side comes just one week ahead of Scenarios’ huge showcase event in Tulum on Friday, January 20, where Emanuel Satie, Maga, Sean Doron, Tim Engelhardt and a very special guest (TBA) will descend on a Jungle Cenote in Mexico’s Yucatan peninsula for a truly memorable party to kickstart the New Year.

Underground mainstay Guy Gerber is back on his own Rumors label with new EP Leave It On. Across three tracks he showcases his famously emotive and melodic house sounds. 

Gerber has been a core part of the underground for years, headlining the world's most revered clubs and festivals, collaborating with P. Diddy, bringing all new party concepts to Ibiza, and serving up serene and synth heavy soundscapes that move people physically and emotionally on labels like Cocoon, Italians Do It Better and Rumors. 

This one kicks off with the lush deep house elegance of 'Leave It On' with its languid bass and live sounding drums. Swirling pads and atmospheric vocals bring a romantic feel to this late night jam. 'Leave Me' then picks up the pace with more percussive but still smooth grooves, this time doused in sweeping chords that bring sunshine and soul. 'Jupiter Blues' closes out with a cosmic exploration, the gently tinkling keys shining like stars as warm, rubbery drums carry you onwards and upwards. 

This is another classy EP from Guy Gerber.
