Sure Thing Mix 105: Martinou

This set was recorded in the National Park of Circeo on the 24.8.22 a few meters away from the Tyrrhenian Sea. There were 60 people audience lying on the sand, a few candles and a 4+1 Turbosound system.
I played my own productions including a few unreleased tunes.
Thanks to "Le Passeggiate Poetiche" and Exotique.it for making this possible.
Hope you enjoy the ride same as we did on that night.

This is a live recording, captured at Ego club in Düsseldorf, June 5 1999.  The music has been created with a self written step sequencer, the PX-18, controlling  a basic sample player and effects engine, all done in MaxMSP, running on a Powerbook G3. The step sequencer had some unique features, e.g. the ability to switch patterns independently in each track, which later became an important part of a certain music software.

I found the recording on a backup disk today. It has not been edited or mastered. During the first 20 minutes of the set, and before the 'encore' the Monolake CD 'Gobi' is playing in the background.

In this mix I wanted to show what my regular small room sets sound like on a Friday midnight in the club, and also to widen my musical catalogue for the listener, so here is a small insight into and some tunes I've been playing in the G2 floor of KHIDI. Hope you enjoy! (=^ェ^=)
