“INVERSO” is the new vinyl sub-label of Kript Records, whose concept is based on the meaning that the word assumes in different fields, in mathematics for example the “INVERSO” Ratio means that the product of the variables always remain constant. But the word “INVERSO” is also a concept that leads to an exact opposite of what it assumes. These two meanings of the word “INVERSO” inspire all the tracks of the label, characterized by a -Noisy and Distorted- sound, where symmetry and asymmetry live together and where analog source and analog processing give a great touch of depth.

A stone thrown, just to watch it fly. A projectile launched for the sole purpose of drawing a ballistic trajectory in the sky.
The Solens arc is what remains after the subtraction of the goal; a simple parabolic curve defined by gravity, impulse and starting angle. No target to hit, no catharsis to wait for, just the beauty of the flight.

The Arc as the purpose, in the form of four variations, constructed from disintegrated melodic textures and dismantled beats. Each sequences are assembled seamlessly into dense, evolving compositions, while keeping their autonomy, and their role in the global dramaturgy.

Pointillist serial loops morph into abrasive rave anthems, broken club rhythms are refitted into uneven patterns, like deconstructivist sound architectures. Industrial techno stompers dissolve into granular sound waves and filtered space pads, before being overtaken by cinematic drums and rising arpeggios.

Solens Arc is Kangding Ray’s fourth Album for raster-noton.

Rob Booth's preternatural ability to cherry-pick the finest emerging talent in electronic music (see: Mount Kimbie, James Blake, Akkord) continues with EE:V:003 - a brutal pair-up of two of the UK's most promising techno fiends under the menacing-sounding guise Habits of Hate.

Heroic young gun Happa and already-prolific producer Manni Dee are both quickly rising through the ranks of the UK techno scene with releases on labels like Boomkat Editions, Bleep's Green Series, Perc Trax and Black Sun Records shared between them. Born out of swapping tunes and discovering a shared spirit of pushing dancefloors to previously uncharted limits, "Limelight Roles" takes a rigid, stomping pattern to its absolute breaking point and refuses to let up, calling to mind Regis' most unrelenting tracks, whereas "A Rebel From the Waist Down" blends equal parts sub-crushing bass with corrosive mid-range textures. These two slabs of brutalist techno just might be both artists' most gleefully punishing work to date, falling in line nicely with the recent output of other unhinged vanguards like Shifted, Perc and Untold.

Happa is Leeds-dwelling 16 year old Samir Alikhanizadeh whose early productions gained fervent support from luminaries like Zed Bias, Skream and Mary Anne Hobbs, quickly solidifying him as a bonafide prodigy and one to watch. His future looks just as exceptionally bright as his music is exceptionally dark.

Manni Dee is a futurist of sorts - an impeccable, razor-sharp tech genius and restlessly inventive producer who's unafraid to tinker with the boundaries of sound and music, expertly walking the line between solid and abstract, carefully constructed and organic. Based in Brighton, he's already released on some of the top underground dance labels and earned enthusiastic praise from peers and critics alike, from Blawan to Surgeon to Giles Peterson and more.

Born in Rome late in the 80s, where he took his first steps deejaying and producing with Black Sam Records around 2010, he became the founder of 'Monolith Records' in 2014. As deejay, sound designer, resident of the former eclectic platform 'Liber Null Berlin', art director of the event series 'Metamorphosis Berlin', Sirio Grimaldi aka Sirio Gry J have been proposing sounds and concepts able to destabilize and renew the scene of Berlin during the last decade. 
Focusing on crafting, disclosing and supporting meaningful electronics, the mission to push the boundaries and deconstruct the standard methods led him to forge a unique dark aesthetic as the fruit of an uncompromisable vision which led to establish an identity that made him a key figure in the most underground circuits of the darker music scene of the arty Berlin. 
His work also reached the attention of Alessandro Bavari, Italian pioneer of the digital arts (also more recently director of the special effects sequences of Ridley Scott’s ‘Alien Covenant’), with whom he collaborated for several videos as sound designer and musician since 2017. Sirio Grimaldi is the founder of Monolith Records and resident of the eclectic project Liber Null Berlin; born in Rome in the late 80s, he discovered the world of deejaying firstly inspired by the "Sound Of Rome". After digging the London scene he moved to Berlin, playing in the main clubs like Berghain Säule, Tresor, Arena, Griessmühle, About Blank, Suicide Circus (and more...). There it was established Monolith Records, a music platform which looks ahead to the grim future of humankind, delivering electronics as compositions translating different philosophical stances, mainly about the human condition. The parallel development of darker aesthetics through the Liber Null Berlin residency, proliferating over Berlin first, then Europe and Asia, shapes the unique mystical Idm obscure-ravey output of the deejay sets, that can morph from slow-haunting and experimental warmups to destructive dancefloor actions through a wide range of genres, constantly mashed up (such as Techno, Industrial, Idm, Ambient, Breaks, Acid, Electro; following no rules in matter of bpm). Also art director of the event series Metamorphosis happening in Suicide Circus every couple of months, he's genuinely contributing to the scene with constant dedication and focus on quality.

PURSUIT

“When did the future switch from being a promise to being a threat?”

 Things are running so fast, to nowhere. It looks like mankind has realised that any effort to find a reason to justify its own existence is actually useless.
At the end we finally gave up, seeing ourself as monsters rather than the amazing creatures designed to rule the universe.
Our evolution, that we can definitely assume to be an involutionary process, turned the human kind being into a condition where the race probably got to the maximum of the biological possibilities. What will come next? Is it possible that the next step will involve creatures whose basic capacities so radically exceed those of present humans as to be no longer unambiguously human by our current standards?
Probably those entities will be able to "become" or embody different identities and understand the world from multiple, heterogeneous perspectives reaching the “post human condition” while seeking to maintain intellectual rigor and a dedication to objective observations.
Mankind’s hunger for keeping the evolution of techniques and tools vivid and alive brought our kind to struggle to feed itself of artificialism, spoiling biodiversity and setting itself as a black hole which swallows everything. The act of digesting creates nothing but toxicity that keeps on spoiling our planet and the life forms which populate it.
Since mankind started ruling the world, this process never stopped. Even when the balance was found, mankind kept growing, expanding and evolving, reaching a condition which is distant to the natural feelings of our race.
Hypothetically, we’re trying to ascend to an higher plane of existence in order to have a better control of the Earth and its happenings, despite the harsh fact that life has became harder for most of the animated beings which populate it, even for humans themselves.
As humans are conscious entities, surviving isn't enough, as our needs push us to make the most of our own psycho/physic resources in order to shape our own vision of things on a satisfactory base. This allows us to feel in peace and harmony with our surrounding world.
Besides the fact that more and more people all over the world have to struggle in order to ensure their own existence, a constantly decreasing number of people are able to focus on the happiness, having no direction to follow. The balance which ruled existence got lost and probably the time for a radical change for our little corner of the universe is getting closer and closer. A natural flux of renewed energy will come to set up a new order and renew the existence cycle over our planet.
“The end was contained in the beginning”, all we can do at this point is just to wait for the advent of the new cycle, wait for the advent of the MONOLITH to set the new order.
