Third shot on Connwax! Following up our first two widely acclaimed EPs produced by Eduardo De La Calle and Refracted, three unique and versatile techno tracks are emerging from the abyss. Banging raw rhythms, sharp chords along with stripped down and spaced out soundscapes recomposed to an out of the ordinary highlight of the Berlin based producer Monomood who recently did a great release on Uncanny Valley's sublabel Shtum. Limited to 250 copies.

In der letzten Zeit habe ich für mich festgestellt, dass ich zu chilligen Dubtechnoklängen am besten am Computer arbeiten kann. Dieser warme organische Sound der nicht belastet, versprüht einen Charme der einfach nur gut tut. 
Also habe ich mal meine Musiksammlung nach deepen und dubbigen Tracks durchforstet und mich wie ein Perlentaucher gefühlt über so mache Wiederentdeckung!
Gestern Abend war es dann mal an der Zeit eine Vielzahl davon quer durch den deep-dubbigen Gemüsegarten zu mixen und mir damit mein eigenes kleines Ostergeschenk zu bereiten. 
Und natürlich konnte ich es mir nicht verkneifen den ein oder anderen Hit mit einzuflechten ;) ...frei mach dem Motto: my definition of...usw :)

Monomood was born in a small village near to Dresden in the mid 80thies. Since more than 10 years he lives in Berlin. As an artist he is difficult to categorize. What is it? Techno? House? Drum and Bass? Or maybe Dubstep? What about a quantum Funk or Ambient? Well, actually, it’s always a bit of everything – but it’s always new and fresh. It is hard to find the leitmotif, and yet there is one: quality. After dwelling on the Drum and Bass station for a while, it is most accurate to say Monomood has taken off into the future: the wide cosmos of dubby Techno sounds. His vinyls on Etui Records, carry us into the complex world of echoed chords and spacy Delays as well as dark techno vibes.
