"I Love You, My One and Only" (Remix 8) from Rhythm Heaven Fever remixed.

I used both the English and the Japanese instrumental versions for this. I simply wanted them to be in sync with one another, and I added a drum loop just to test out something. I started adding in more things, and this is what came of it.

This is currently my favourite remix that I've done.

A small mashup of sorts.

For those of you wondering, yes, I will get back to remixing video games. I haven't really found anything as of late to be remixed (although I might remix Guest Book, which is the other track that's playing), and making mashups is kinda fun. Also, you can request for me to remix some of the songs of your choice. Just leave what you want remixed by me either in the comments, or DM me your request(s).

I tried to make something good for the occasion, and it was either something like an "Everybody's [X]" mashup, or a chiptune remix medley. The problem with an Everybody's mashup is that you need to find the right songs that fit with the song and the tempo, and that was tough, and making a chiptune remix medley is tough and tedious for me, and I tried to make it simple, but I just couldn't find anything with it either.

This was the only thing I could do that was "good". Pretty disappointing, I know.

Anyways, thanks to the guys who've been supporting me and telling me that my stuff is actually "good" when I thought that my stuff was mediocre at best, and to the guys who've inspired me (somehow) to make more tracks. And those people are none other than:

Well, it finally happened. I've now reached 200 followers on SoundCloud!

Yeah, I know the last upload was a megamix of sorts, and it might sound a bit iffy here and there, but this is the best I could make of it, and I'm super proud, even if I manage to improve what I do in the future.

Also, I couldn't really find a picture for this, so I'm just gonna leave it as is. By the by, I managed to make the picture by using and online photo editor to erase the colours. Poor, I know, but it's just what it is (might be changed later).

Just a simple mashup with a beat because the acapella made it feel empty. Also, the beat was complicated to make for it to go along with the piano and I couldn't find a hi-hat to fit with the beat itself, so that's why it's extremely simple.

About over a year and a month ago, I uploaded my first mashup entitled "Highly Ridiculous" (later renamed "Treetop Bling" on Icynato's Soundproof), which has now been deleted a while ago to make room for more content. At first, the "content" was going to be a mix of video game remixes with only a few mashups serving as a side thing, but then I kinda got interested into putting two songs together over covering video game music in my own style. It then snowballed into its own thing for months and that's how it got me here today, and this is what the update is about.

As I've seen from a few other people, those including my friends, they've all seem to leave the mashup community entirely or take an indefinite break/hiatus. Some reasons include work or school which is reasonable, but another reason would be that "mashups aren't as fun to make anymore", or "I've started to run out of ideas (or already have)". I feel the same way as those people, as I don't feel like they're fun to make anymore, nor have I gotten any solid ideas, or simply an idea in general.

I know I just upload E.T.'s Prayer over a week ago, but there seems to be another problem that I've seen throughout the months that passed: popularity. I never strive for popularity, especially when it came to making mashups, but then as I kept making more, I felt like it was a necessity for my to be good or "popular" as how I feel it should be today. Now I know that you'd tell me that popularity isn't everything, and I do believe that is true. But something about me wanted people to enjoy my content, but it couldn't be just one person. It had to be many people. If you compare the likes between E.T.'s Prayer and Suit & Tie 3D Land, you can see the ~70 like difference between the two. I guess it felt like I needed a drive of support of others that like my content, and maybe that includes you, reading this right now.

It felt like more of something I needed to do: make ("good") mashups, upload it, and people would hopefully enjoy it. Alas, not everything goes according to plan, as I started to make "decent" mashups and less people started to like them. I felt like I needed to please a crowd, and that's not something I want to do. If you like what I make, I appreciate you for that, but if it's becoming a priority for me to please you with my content, well that's not gonna happen.

Will I be leaving SoundCloud? I can't say for sure, but I'll still be around to listen to music here and leave comments. Am I gonna delete my stuff? No, everything on this account will stay here. What about the alternate account? As I won't be using that anymore as well, everything there stays. Other projects? I'll have to think about that. For something like MixHub, I'll most likely submit old mashups and whatever.

So in short: I'll be leaving SoundCloud pretty soon. Mashups aren't as fun to make anymore due to having that feeling that it needs to be popular and pleased by others, as well as me being stumped on ideas. I'll be spending most of my time on Discord, so if you have my tag and or share a server with me, feel free to send me a message. Thanks to all of my followers and friends that kept me going up until this point. To the new followers, I'm sorry if you expecting something more/else but I've got nothing. An Update

"No crying until the end," huh? Well I'm not one to bawl my eyes out, but there's a first for everything, I guess.

A Farewell Just Like This

UPDATE 11/15/19: I have officially rebranded as "Millennium Hero" so everything except this page is now under the handle. All the links are now Millennium Hero-related.
