I really like how they mix songwriting elements with dance music. Ultimately I wanted to maintain that while changing the feel. The shuffled beat was a lot of fun to play with and a breath of fresh air to the normal 4 on the floor beat. I really hope you like it!

Par un concours de circonstances propre à l’incroyable vie des choses, les sonorités bruitistes du premier EP de Jacques ont résonné jusqu’aux oreilles bienveillantes des membres de l’équipe de Radio France. C’est dans le cadre des journées du patrimoine que Radio France lance alors à Jacques le défi de composer un morceau qui inclus des sons enregistrés à l’intérieur de la Maison de la Radio à Paris. Panneaux de signalisation, poteaux, extincteurs, ascenseurs, tiroirs, câbles métalliques… tout le bâtiment est cogné pour en extraire une banque de sons inédite à partir de laquelle il va composer sans le savoir ce qui deviens aujourd’hui son nouveau single. Dans un morceau fait à partir de la radio et pour la radio, Jacques chante pour la première fois le fait qu’il est pour la première fois dans la radio. Le titre ? Dans la Radio. Une mise en abîme que l’on soupçonne d’être une expérience de plus dans le cadre de son projet pseudo-scientifique né au Palais de Tokyo il y a quelque mois : Le CNRV (Centre National de Recherche du Vortex).
